| Chelsea, a Beads of Courage Member! |
Beads of Courage founded the first Burn Program in 2012 here in Arkansas. Our program provides beads to children and teens with severe burn injuries. This Program provides beads for all sorts of treatments unique to burn care, but also some that are universal for all Beads of Courage members! All members receive the same color bead for nights in the hospital (yellow), or for pokes with a needle (black). Members of our Burn Program receive additional beads for treatments like hydrotherapy and burn resuscitation.
We only have three Burn Programs across the country. Help fund the mission and support children and teens coping with severe burns. That's it from Arkansas! Check back tomorrow for more updates from my road trip!
