Courage Tiger's Road Trip Day 15: Artmosphere in Alaska

Today is my last day in Alaska, and I want to share with you our exciting relationship to a glass bead studio here in Anchorage! In 2011, Beads of Courage began to partner with Artmosphere Studio to make our Iditarod program possible. Mushers carried beads on their sleds during the race, and gave the beads back to us with a signed note to give to members of our program across the country. Iditarod is one of the great features of our Carry a Bead program, which helps people like YOU to encourage members of our programs across the country and around the world!  

Not only did the Artmosphere Studio help grow our Carry a Bead program, but the studio also had a hand in recruiting one of our brand ambassadors. Michelle, the studio owner, is a close family friend to one of our brand ambassadors, Michael! When she found out about the Carry a Bead program, she immediately thought of Michael, and told him about the program. She thought he could start carrying beads at his martial arts competitions, and he has been carrying beads ever since. So much has happened here in Alaska that I am excited to see what other states have in store on my road trip.
